TERMS OF SERVICE

By commissioning me, you are agreeing to my terms of service. Failing to adhere to these terms may result in your blacklisting from future work.

• The commissioner must be 18 or older to order from me.

• For artwork other than character references, the commissioner will provide image references of their character to work from.

• Payment is expected before work is completed. Refunds only if I refuse to complete your commission or it is not finished before a date determined before payment.

• The commissioner will use artwork for personal uses only. The artist maintains all rights to the artwork itself. Do not sell prints of these commissioned works. If you intend for commercial use, please state that in your note, and we can go over the details.

• The commissioner will divulge all necessary details in the first commission correspondence and will not expect large changes to be made after the sketch is approved.

• When a progress sketch is provided, the commissioner will let the artist know at that time if there is a significant or mistakes. All edits to be made should be revealed at once to prevent significant work down the line.

• Commissioners may resell adopted characters, but for the same price or less than purchased, unless the design comes with additional artworks.

• Once the finished product is paid for, the commissioner may post where they please. Obakawaii will be credited as the artist, and the commissioner will not claim they have drawn the piece.

• Conversations between the artist and commissioner will be kept to one site, so all information is together and accessible.

• The artist may post the commissioned artwork to promote work pieces (such as, but not limited to: Stream pictures, Speed Paint Videos, Tumblr posts).

• The commissioner will not expect the artist to match another artist's style.

• Commissioner is commissioning the work because they like the artist's style, and not because they need a cheap alternative. Unless the artist forgets important features of the character(s) involved, edits are very minimal.

• The artist deals in digital goods, so no items will be shipped.

• Payment is ready when the commissioner contacts the artist for a commission. Discounts and sales will not be held after expiration.

• Unpaid work-in-progress art will not be used by the commissioner as references elsewhere.

• Payment for YCH auctions is due within 2 days after approval sketch is presented. All other commission payments may vary on case-by-case basis.

• Work is not flat priced, but varies as the commissioner adds details. The commissioner will lay ALL information out before billing. Everything the commissioner wants and expects out of the piece. The artist cannot draw what is not described, and excessive edits will not be added after initial invoice is paid.

• The commissioner will not delete previous conversations in the bodies of our correspondence.

• By paying, the commissioner is accepting these Terms of Service.
